In the CT Computations, I can ask for a loss to be carried back to an earlier period. But Sage DOESN'T automaticlly tick Box 45 on the CT600 "Claim or relief affecting an earlier period". If this box is not ticked, HMRC doesn't activate the refund.

Thank you for posting this Tricia. I was wondering why we had not received a loss carry back payment from HMRC when I had clearly included it on the Sage Cloud CT computation. I just called HMRC and you are correct in that if box 45 is not ticked they don't know where is a loss carried back. Really bad on the part of Sage. It must affect so many companies.
