At present the only way for editing mappings file is to do so manually, on the first import of the trial balance. This means the same process has to be repeated for each client, even if the source trial balance codes are the same. If there were a way to export the mapping file from the client already set up on Final accounts, which could be imported as a default mapping file for all new clients, that would eliminate the need to repeat this process.
