I have a society that has been exempt for corporation tax so is an exempt charity. It prepares accounts under Charities Sorp but also FRS102 under the CCBSA 2014. The Society has share capital, but the charities master defaults to limited by guarantee so will not allow a Share Capital posting. Then the Societies master can prepare the accounts to a point but does not have the functionality for Fund accounting like required by the charities SORP. If fund accounting could be added to Societies Master, or the option for the Charity to be a Society that has Share Capital that would be great.
